Four by Four Construction:
Four by Four Construction is based in La Jolla. It was started nearly two decades ago by three brothers: Jeff, Dean, and David Fargo. They grew up in the San Diego construction trade, working through high school and college degrees, the continued in the family line as supervisors and project managers before starting Four by Four Construction in 1991.
Four by Four has residential and commercial divisions. The residential division has built 223 custom single-family homes in North Coastal San Diego, including properties in La Jolla, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Cardiff by the Sea, Rancho Santa Fe, and Carmel Valley. Four by Four homes have been recognized for their outstanding workmanship and detailed craftsmanship. The commercial division has built more than 600,000 square feet of commercial projects and 200,000 square feet of tenant improvements. Over the years, Four by Four has earned a reputation as one of the area’s premier general contractors.
